January 2008
Happy New Year to you all. We hope that you enjoyed a great Christmas holiday and have had a good start to 2008.
We've had a busy start, as expected, but are pleased to be able to announce some completed projects and to provide an update on ongoing work.
The Members Directory 2007/08 for the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain has finally gone to print! It's been a long one, but we think the results will be worth it. To ge a sneak preview you can look at some of the page layouts by following the links below.

Lucas Fox has gone live with its alternative Russian language version at http://www.lucasfox.ru , so have a look if you're Russian-speaking and in the market for property rentals in and around the Barcelon region.
Go English has also gone live now, and the site owners are putting finishing touches to imagery and content, but the basic site is up and running. The project involved a complete design overhaul and the implementation of an udated and reworked Content Management System. You can see the results at http://www.go-english.co.uk .
Anjana has been working on the Barcelona Properties offline design and branding project and that is almost complete now. We've moved on to the next stage of the project which is the design and build of the corporate web site plus property module - more news to follow as and when updates are available.
As ever, there are a number of other projects that are ongoing and others which are in the pipeline, and as always, we'll postmore news about these as soon as we can.
Happy New Year!
As usual our news round up comes right at the end of the month but again we're pleased to say that it's been another busy, busy month.
The Members Directory 2007/08 for the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain is fast approaching completion and after a final proofreading over the holidays, the final files will go to print in the first week of the New Year. We'll put up some images of the layouts for you to see when the project goes to print.
Matt has been very, very busy. The Lucas Fox and Go English projects are coming along very nicely, the former with still some work to go and the latter now in the hands of the client to add content, imagery and finetune the structure using our CMS.
Also pending client attention are the Seaskin International and GlobalMediaTech projects. Both projects are completed and parked on demo urls while the clients work on the content. We'll post the completed urls once we've been given the all clear and are able to transfer the sites to their final domains.
We've just completed a quick redesign and rebuild for the guys at Virtual Tours. If you ever need a 360 degree virtual tour for your business or pleasure, go see the site and have a chat with them - http://www.virtualtours.es
Our project with Barcelona Properties is going well. We've almost completed the first stage which involves designing their corporate identity and offline print materials. Coming straight after that in the New Year is the web design and development project and of course we'll have more news of that nearer the time.
We'd like to say a big thank you to all our clients with whom we've enjoyed working this year and we'll be back next year, refreshed and raring to go. Happy Christmas to you all and Best Wishes for the New Year.
Well, we seemed to miss out October news entirely, but that's just becasue we've been incredibly busy of late - so here's a quick update as to what's been happening and what's on the horizon.
Ongoing projects include the Members Directory 2007/08 for the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain. It's a big one, this! A 128 page book for distribution to all the Members and available through the Chamber to non-members also. The scheduled delivery to the printer is fast approaching and we're working hard to get everything ready for that date.
The online marketing campaign for the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business is in full swing and going well. This will be an ongoing project, and we'll keep you posted on future developments.
The new Go-English site is currently in development and will be live soon - again, details of the site launch will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.
The web site for Stephane Breysse's photography gallery is due to go live very, very soon. There is an inaugural opening event on Nov5th and full details can be found on the site holding page at http://www.stephanebreysse.com .
We've just finished a big campaign for TeamKR, our motoGP web client. As a thankyou to their fans for their support over the 2007 season, the team made available space on their bike to carry the names or messages of their fans. We built an online presentation and a sign-up facility on the site to kick things off. The response was incredible, with over 15,000 people taking advantage of the offer! We then had to produce the artwork for the stickers that go on the bike. The next step was to send an email that was linked to the names database to inform people where on the bike their name is appearing, and users can then finallly visit the site and search for their name via a searchable pdf document of their particualr sticker. You can see the final page at http://www.teamkr.com/index.cfm?p=bikestickers.
Other ongoing projects include a site for a Barcelona based Martial Arts and Training company and another for a company involved in yacht maintenance. So, all in all, we're pretty busy at the moment. There are also a few other things in the pipeline but we'll be able to confirm them in the near future. Don't go thinking that we're too busy though! If you have any ideas for projects, as ever, give us a call - we're always happy to meet new clients and help them with their project ideas.
Hasta luego!
The August holidays have come and gone and it's back to business as normal at source23 for all concerned.
The recent Lucas Fox design revamp and development overhaul and update will soon be live and available for all to see.
Further news is the start of our online marketing campaign for Chicago University Graduate School of Business. We've handled their online marketing campaign for a couple of years now and this year we're aiming to repeat the successes of previous years. The work involves the management of many email sends, html email creation and overall campaign management. It's an ongoing project of course, but we'll keep you updated on its progress throughout the duration of the campaign.
The Go-English redesign project has started well, and the new layouts and design guidelines have been approved and signed off. The site build will begin shortly and the new site is scheduled to go live towards the end of September. Check back here for more details nearer the time.
We hope that everyone is coping with the return to work after the summer holidays!
As ever, August is turning out to be a busy month, but of course, we're not complaining!
We're working on some redesign work for Lucas Fox and Matt is also implementing some new development modules and extra functionality to the site.
We'll let you know when the results are up and running and ready to view.
We've also been given a brief to work on a redesign of the Go-English web site and some offline promotional work also. Again, please check back here for project updates and progress reports.
We're also working on a large branding, web and offline project for a new client. This involves coming up with the new corporate identity and designing and developing two web sites and a full set of offline material. It's a good project and we're aiming to have this completed by the end of August.
New source23 website goes live - August 2007
Well, it's taken a lot longer than we'd originally planned, but it's finally here. It was originally scheduled for a couple of months ago but it's all been quite hectic recently and, as ever, client work always comes first.
We hope you like the new look and feedback is always welcome.
The site is powered by our own content management system, which means that there will be regular updates about upcoming projects, new clients and latest completed projects.
Time permitting, of course....
Anjana, a member of the source23 design team, will be getting married in England on the 28th July, and is heading back this week to oversee the final preparations for the big day.
We'd like to wish her the best of luck for the last week of her single status and the big day itself. We're looking forward to welcoming her back after the honeymoon.
Our redesign of the Jocasi website is now complete and the site has gone live.
The team at Jocasi have been busy uploading their content and products into the site and there's a special launch sale to be viewed at the moment so we'd recommend that you stop by a pick up a bargain or two.
The new site is a complete overhaul of their existing site which was showing signs of ageing. The e-commerce platform is fully integrated into the site and allows Jocasi fans to purchase their favourite items in one seamless visit.
As the rest of Spain starts to wind down and plan their summer holidays for the entire month of August, at source23 we're bracing ourselves for an August of normal service in the hot Spanish sun.
Team members will be away for some days of the month but we'll still be fully operational. If you're unable to directly get hold of your usual contact at source23, please simply contact us here or on the usual office numbers.
