The Client

This Spanish company is the sole distributor in Spain of the Biamed dietary programme that has seen quite some success in its native Holland and across Europe.
While there's no miracle cure for weight loss, but the Vitalimed and the Biamed method promotes a combination of sound dietary advice, meal replacements and individually tailored programmes which have achieved considerable success to date.
The Brief
When Vitalimed first came to Spain, they needed to get together a complete set of marketing and promotional materials for use in bringing their products to the marketplace.
After completing the Vitalimed website, we were asked to produce a set of three print projects, namely one brochure aimed at participating doctors in the programme, a brochure for patients taking part in the programme and a promotional triptych for distribution in doctors' surgeries aimed at raising awareness of the Vitalimed programme among potential patients.
The Solution
Source23 and Vitalimed spoke at length about the aims and objectives of the three print projects and the importance of creating a cohesive brand image across all materials supporting the programme. We defined the brand identity and overall colour scheme to be used and from this point set out to create the artwork for the three pieces.
The doctors' brochure has a clean, clinical feel to it which aims to communicate the key information about the programme to the doctors and allow them to make an informed decision about the benefits and workings of the programme. We also incorporated some imagery provided by the client of an actual participating doctor already involved in the programme. The final product was a 16 page A5 sized booklet that is currently used as a cornerstone of Vitalimed's participating doctor sign-up process.

The patients' brochure has a lifestyle feel to it that was required to communicate to the readers the nature and aims of the Vitalimed programme. Again, the format was a 16 page A5 sized booklet and the principal imagery used in this part of the project mirrors the main imagery used for the web site that we had previously designed and developed.

The final part of the set was the triptych aimed at potential participants in the programme. For this we again used some imagery consistent with the overall brand image of the company and sought to lay out the key benefits and information behind the programme in a readily accessible and logical manner.

Overall, we were very pleased with the results and look forward to continuing our working relationship with the team at Vitalimed.
